While I was out with my husband
looking for the recliner he wanted for Christmas, I stopped at a
few mattress stores. Not only did we go to get his recliner, we
are thinking of getting a new bed and possibly a new living room
set once the holidays are over, so we looked at those as well.
When I wanted into the store I saw nothing but beds. I was
thinking that any one of them had to be better than the one we
are sleeping on right now. We got our bed from my dad over ten
years ago. It was new then, but it was not a very expensive bed.
Though it was good for a while, it most definitely has reached
the end of its life.
The best thing about mattress stores is that you can lie right
on the bed and you can see how the bed feels. I have slept on a
lot of different mattress in hotels, and I know what I like in a
bed. I have been asking around different mattress stores so see
if anyone knows what kind of beds they have in the Crowne Plaza
Hotels. If they have that bed I want to buy it. That was by far
the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life.
I discovered something else in these mattress stores however. I
have found the foam type of mattress. I laid down on one and I
did not want to get up. My husband had to remove me from the bed
so we could continue on his search for a recliner. I told him
that before we left the mattress stores that he had to try the
bed. He was hesitant, but he finally lay down on the other side
of the bed. His eyes got big, and he let out a sign. I think we
have found a winner. I’m not sure how we are going to afford it,
but we have to have that bed.
Take your time when you are visiting mattress stores to make
sure you are getting the best deal. Most of the mattress stores
you visit will all have the same beds. That means you can find
the best price. Remember to let those working in the mattress
stores know that you are shopping around for the very best
price, and ask them if they are willing to take something off
the price to get you to buy. You might be surprised to find that
they do just that.
